2017 is going to be a planning year
As 2016 draws to a close, it’s time to look forward to our year of planning and to getting more organised! It also happens to be my 40th birthday and as I’ve never had a party, I thought… why not! I’m going to warmly embrace what all my friends are fearing and accept that 40 isn’t going to be that bad… is it!?!
I’ll be celebrating in February and so much of my attention will be focused on this during January. But to top off what, I hope, will be an epic month, we also have our ski trip to Morzine to look forward to. I just hope the alps actually get some snow as it’s looking a bit grim at the moment!
However, after that it will be all about our adventure and what we need to do. I am imagining a list to manage my lists and lots of reading.
Now that we have told the boys we can include them in our discussions and make them feel part of this. I know we still have a long way to go and much of it won’t be actioned until the end of the year. But I like to be organised and the first 6 months will be researching and building up my blog so that we have something useable that can provide other families with an insight into how we have reached our goal. I do hope we can inspire others like the Sheard family inspired us and know that whatever we do, it will be an adventure!
So please let my 2017 be an focused, organised and productive one! What are your goals for 2017?
